Guild Graduates and Community
Upon completion of the two-year program, apprentices
become members of the Graduate Guild, which brings together all Guild graduates for two weekend retreats each year. Each
retreat enriches a graduate's spiritual journey, cultivates new approaches to spiritual direction and nurtures our Guild's
growing community of seekers. Committees
and governance provide opportunities for members to become actively involved in the work of the Guild's and its ongoing impact
on our lives, our communities, our society and the world. The Guild for Spiritual Guidance offers both an intensive two-year
Apprentice Program and a lifetime of stimulating Graduate Program retreats, ongoing spiritual transformation and community.
Characteristics of Guild Members - Guild members have come from a wide range of ages, backgrounds,
occupations and practices. A searching spirit and a deep spiritual hunger are characteristics of all Guild members. Guild
members demonstrate a sufficient background and openness to integrate the content of the three curriculum strands as well
as that of many challenging voices from a variety of spiritual traditions. Guild members share a commitment to practice informal
and formal spiritual guidance as they are so led and guided by the stillness within.
